Modern-Day Renaissance Woman, Szilvia Gogh on Breaking the Boundaries of Possibilities and Reaching the Pinnacle of Success

Living an extraordinary life is not measured by how many skills an individual possesses. Instead, it is a measure of how those skills have impacted the lives of people around you. One of such individuals pushing against boundaries and using her many talents to impact the lives of those around her is modern renaissance woman Szilvia Gogh.

Szilvia Gogh is a polymath, a one-percenter with vast interests and skills. A scuba diver, stunt woman, photojournalist, jewelry designer, youth mentor, and breast cancer survivor, Szilvia is a powerhouse of talents and accomplishments. Within the realm of scuba diving, Szilvia Gogh is a force to be reckoned with. She was the youngest female in the world to become a PADI Course Director and was recently inducted into the Women Divers Hall of Fame.

For nearly two decades, she has taught scuba diving from beginners to dive instructors, including special training for LAPD, Sheriffs, and Fire Department in her native Hungary, Malta, the UK, Thailand, and California. She also works with “at-risk” youth in Los Angeles, not only in the water but also in classrooms and career days, inspiring them to reach their dreams.

As a photojournalist, Szilvia documents her adventures above and below the water and writes the stories. She believes that when the same person behind the lens writes the stories, the result is a more complete and compelling product. "I write my articles about the world as I see it and translate this into pictures to tell the stories through photos," she explained. Her exemplary work as a photojournalist can be seen in reputable publications, including USA Travel Magazine, Itchy Feet Travel Magazine, Advanced Diver Magazine, Submarine Magazine, the weekly Courier, American Chronicle, and more.

In addition to her prominent scuba diving and photojournalism skills, Szilvia has made her mark in the acting industry as a highly talented stuntwoman. She works in front of the camera as an adventure show host, scuba instructor, and stunt woman in blockbuster Hollywood movies and TV series. She doubled actress Drew Barrymore in Big Miracle Movie during the ice diving and actress Dina Meyer in Piranha 3D during the cave diving scenes. Some of her other credits also include water safety services during the filming of Avatar Sequels, Fast and Furious 9, and Desperate Housewives TV series, to name a few.

On top of her many accomplishments, this talented lady also designs and creates unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry inspired by the ocean and creatures living in it, leading her to yet another enterprise: Gogh Jewelry Design. Each handcrafted piece from Gogh Jewelry Design reflects its founder's sense of mystery and individuality and beckons the free spirit in every self-made woman.

In the coming years, Szilvia Gogh continues to set her goals forward and aims to be creative in every aspect of her life. She inspires others and encourages them that pursuing multiple dreams is a possibility through hard work and sheer perseverance.
