Amy re-located to California in 2001 looking to find her purpose. Attending Le Cordon Bleu in 2010, graduating with a Associate in Culinary Arts.
After working in the Culinary Industry for a few years Amy began to seek a deeper connection for guidance.
She established a daily yoga practice and began to find the connection within herself.
Having completed Yoga Teacher Training she now currently guides other like-minded individuals seeking enlightenment and great exercise!
Along with teaching Yoga, Pilates, Cycle, and Core and Strength Conditioning at local gyms she also has her own private services where she gives personal in-home instruction, deeming herself as The YOGettA because she truly is a go-getter.
Amy would say the real reward is seeing her students' lives change and awaken to receive their full potential- like she has!
"I had the privilege to take part of a women's retreat in Joshua Tree, CA this Summer. As this was the first time I had been to Joshua Tree, I chose to approach this adventure with an open mind and found myself enjoying every moment. I was able to take time to get out of the city and be away from the everyday routine of work that became life consuming.
Spending the weekend "off the grid" is exactly what I needed to feel rejuvenated and restored. When I surrendered to the stillness and silence of Joshua Tree it brought life to the concept of just breathing in and breathing out; knowing that the moments that take the breathe away- are moments that matter.
Connecting with my consciousness allowed me to go inside for satisfaction, to help me realize I already have everything I need to be happy.
I am thankful to Joshua Tree for its amazing silent hikes, its beauty and for taking my breath away; reminding me to make the most of every moment," said Amy.
